Meet Our Executive Director:
SHANE PAULEY
Shane Pauley is the Executive Director of the Banks County Christian Learning Center and is very familiar with CLC as he is married to our former director, Noel. They have been married for seven years and have two daughters, Abigail and Hannah Kate. Shane has a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministry from Truett McConnell University and serves as the Associate Pastor at Nail's Creek Baptist Church, where his family worships. Shane is passionate about sharing the Gospel with people of all ages and loves watching God change lives.
While he accepted Christ at the age of 13, Shane turned from Christ and lived for what the world had to offer for many years. He surrendered his life back to Christ 8 years ago. As a result, Shane has a passion for seeing students come to know Jesus Christ and find their worth, identity, and purpose in a relationship with Him.
Meet Our Teachers:
TANNER CLARK
Tanner grew up in South Georgia in a little town called Cairo. When he was in high school, Jesus saved his life and called him into Vocational Ministry at a youth camp called FUGE in Mobile, AL. Through the Lord's calling, Tanner then journeyed to Truett McConnell University, where he pursued a degree in Christian Studies with a concentration in Theology.
Since college, the Lord has blessed Tanner with the opportunity to serve as the Youth Pastor at Baldwin Baptist Church. Now, he's excited about the opportunity to also serve the local churches of Banks County through the Christian Learning Center!
ALICIA LEWALLEN
Alicia has been married to her husband, Justin, for 16 years. They have two sons, Caleb and Joshua. She loves the outdoors and spends most of her free time hiking, kayaking, or playing disc golf with her family. Alicia accepted Christ as a child but didn't see her faith come alive until she became active in a student ministry. She believes the teenage years are a critical time for faith development! Alicia and her husband have worked alongside each other in student ministry for the last 13 years but are now serving together at Maysville Baptist Church.
Alicia has a deep love for students and desires to see them grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Lord. Alicia is very excited about the opportunity to serve the students of Banks County through the Christian Learning Center!
Meet Our Ministry Assistant:
Karen Rogers
Karen Rogers and her husband, David, have been married for 43 years. They have two daughters and sons-in-love, Christie and Clint Garrison, as well as Kayla and Britt Richards. They have also been blessed with five amazing grandsons: Charlie, Caden, Colton, Wesley, and Landon. They currently attend New Bethel Baptist in Carnesville, GA, where Karen has been in the music ministry for many years, singing and playing the piano. Karen is excited about spending her time at the Banks County Christian Learning Center, where she can see our youth study and eagerly learn God's Word daily!
